Stories are best told by the people in them,
not by me.

I might be able to help though.

I am a story producer and facilitator.

My hard skills are in photography and video production. I specialise in working with organisations that value the power of strong visual narratives made with kindness, sensitivity and respect.

If you are looking to tell the story of your organisation or create the space for the people you work with to tell their own stories, in their own words: I would love to help.

Scalable production services

I try to offer services that can adapt to your constraints whilst achieving your goals.

For larger projects, I can collaborate with you from scripting through to editing. I can bring together a team of creative professionals to manage all aspects of complex productions, including talent scouting, permissions, locations, directing, lighting, audio, motion graphics, animations and more.

For smaller jobs, I can do both stills and video content (even in the same shoot day) to get the most out of your budget.

Recent clients include
Human Rights Law Centre, Respect Victoria, Safe Steps, Foundation for Young Australians, Justice Connect, Australian Greens and Oxfam Australia

A bit more about me

After dropping out halfway through a Master's in International Development, I got my start in the not-for-profit space working at Oxfam. I then transitioned to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre where I directed fundraising campaigns like this for World Refugee Day and produced a photo book.

I’m often working in spaces with immense power imbalances between the people in front and behind the camera. My approach is to focus on building a relationship of genuine trust. To me, that means prioritising the people in the story before the project, implementing ongoing informed consent processes, being continually reflexive of biases, and respecting people's agency to control their representations.

I will always make mistakes, and I will forever be learning.

I’m currently working on an ongoing project about Ugyhur resistance in the global diaspora.
